Can I walk in for document verification without an appointment?

No. All applicants are required to email scanned copies of the required documents for preliminary review before an appointment can be arranged.

Please email clear scanned copies of the document(s) requiring verification together with a copy of your passport.

No. The Consulate-General only verifies original Zimbabwean documents. Authentication and certification are carried out by the relevant authorities in Zimbabwe and the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Malaysia.

No. Marriage certificates and academic certificates must first be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe before they can be presented to the Consulate-General for verification.

Once your documents have been verified by the Consulate-General, they are forwarded to the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Malaysia for processing. For updates on the certification status, please contact the Embassy directly.

Visa applications must be submitted online through the official Zimbabwe e-Visa portal at www.evisa.gov.zw.

All visa applications are processed exclusively by the Zimbabwe Immigration Authorities. For enquiries regarding visa requirements, application status, payments or technical issues, please contact Zimbabwe Immigration directly at evisazim@gmail.com.

No. The Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Malaysia does not issue visa extension letters.

Applicants are normally required to appear in person. Only in exceptional circumstances may the Consulate-General consider requests for submission through an authorised representative. Please contact the Consulate-General in advance, as prior approval and additional requirements apply.

Yes. Thai nationals may apply for the KAZA Univisa through the Zimbabwe e-Visa portal, subject to immigration requirements. During the application process, select KAZA Univisa as the visa category.

No. Emergency Travel Documents (ETDs) are issued only by the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Malaysia. Please contact the Embassy directly for assistance.

A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required only if you are arriving from, or transiting through, a country where Yellow Fever is present.
